The Rosary

St. Benedict Joseph Labre had a great love for the Rosary. He identified his relationship to Mary, the Mother of God by wearing a rosary around his neck. He was seen levitating before pictures of Mary while praying the Rosary which was held in his hands.

The Holy Trinity and the Blessed Sacrament

St. Benedict Joseph Labré would spend the greater part of every day, and sometimes the whole day, in adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament.

God manifested His love to our Saint by bestowing on him a precious gift which enlightened his mind and understanding with a unique knowledge of the Blessed Trinity.

Our Patron saw the Holy Family as the perfect reflection of the Blessed Trinity on earth. Compelled by this love, he would make annual pilgrimages to the Holy House of Loreto, Italy, the home of the Holy Family, where the Mother of God and the wife of St. Joseph is venerated under the title of Our Lady of Loreto.

Devotion to the Sacred Heart

St. Benedict Joseph carried an image of the Sacred Heart with him wherever he went.

The image here is hanging in his chapel in Rome which attests to his devotion. This was what he carried. Wikipedia offers a nice explanation of the devotion: click here
